Neighbourhood Support
Being involved in Neighbourhood Support comes in many forms, and it is up to each group. Some members connect at street meetups and barbeques, some stay connected online and by email, others by being part of a neighbourhood phone tree.

Garden to Table
Garden to Table is a cross curricular programme that introduces children to healthy food in a fun and practical way.
Ōwairaka District School has a thriving programme.
There are a number of fantastic volunteers but are always in need of more. You don’t have to be an expert gardener or cook, come and learn along with the children! Classes are held on Wednesdays, please contact the office if you can spare some time.
